Powell Terrace
Powell Terrace is a food pantry near downtown St. Charles that collects food from different areas around the city and helps to
distribute it weekly to those in need. Our church has been a faithful partner to Powell Terrace for many years and several of our members volunteer regularly. There are many people living in our own ZIP code that don’t have enough food. Powell Terrace is there to consistently serve those who lack this basic need that we take for granted. Join us as we feed the hungry and provide for real needs right here in our community.
Our Lady's Inn
Our Lady’s Inn is an emergency shelter for pregnant women in crisis helping them to choose life for their child. They provide pregnant women and their children shelter and hope for a new life through humble acts of love. There are a variety of ways to serve including childcare, meal preparation, transportation, and doing basic repairs on the buildings. For more information, visit ourladysinn.org.
We Love St. Charles
We Love St. Charles is a movement of volunteers gathered for the purpose of taking city initiative to bring restoration to those in need of assistance in the City of St. Charles. They use community development to love the individuals and families that live right around us who cannot meet certain physical, emotional, or financial needs. They implement different monthly initiatives as well as an ongoing commitment to serve those that have the greatest needs. Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity seeks to provide quality, affordable housing for everyone. They believe that good housing provides for a stable upbringing and positive environment for families to grow together. Habitat builds homes for those in greatest need and also runs ReStore, a discount retail store that sells home improvement materials and appliances to all residents. Habitat St. Charles is currently building a number of homes in St. Charles and needs volunteers to help build the future homes of our neighbors. For more information, visit habitatstcharles.org.
